Boran studio etiquette
Please arrive at least 10 mins prior to your treatment so that you can complete a Confidential Health History Form, change in to the appropriate attire or relax before your treatment. Late arrival means that your treatment time will be adjusted. Please ensure all mobile phones are switched to silent or vibrate prior to entering the studio. Children under 18 years must be accompanied by an adult.
Why is there no answer and a message bank when I call your clinics?
When operationally required our reception is manned by our therapists who are in and out of treatment throughout the day. If you wish to make a booking, you can do so live online by clicking the "online booking" tab at the top of this page. Alternatively, please leave a voice message and we'll call you back on the same day (usually with in 2 hours).
If you have called outside of business hours, please leave a message and we will contact you back the next business day.
I've left a voicemail and I haven't received a call back
From time to time we receive messages which are undecipherable due to technical issues such as poor mobile reception etc. We value your business so please try contacting us again so we can assist you with your massage needs.
Can I drop in for a massage or do I need to book?
Boran Ashgrove and Nundah operates Mondays to Saturdays from 10am, walk-in's welcome however bookings are recommended. Bookings for all services can be made via the “Book Now” tab or by phoning 3366 8702 for Ashgrove and 3266 4224 for Nundah.
What if I need to cancel my appointment?
Where possible we would appreciate at least 24 hours notice when cancelling your appointment. You can cancel your appointment by logging in via www.ezybook.com/pages/boranremedialtherapies or by calling 3366 8702 for Ashgrove and 3266 4224 for Nundah.
Do you offer early morning appointments?
Early morning appointments are available. Our standard trading hours are Mondays to Saturdays 10am to 8pm and early morning appointments can be arranged from 6am onwards. If you're in pain and seeking remedial relief before work, or maybe you're a bright eyed early bird - contact us on 3366 8702 for Ashgrove and 3266 4224 for Nundah to discuss appointment requests.

The music you play in clinic is not the spa music I'd expect from a standard massage shop. Why is this?
Over 90% of Boran clients visit our clinics specifically for Remedial body work. Remedial Massage can be acutely painful but is very effective at treating chronic musculoskeletal pain with post massage effects, well worth the discomfort sometimes experienced during treatment.
Boran continues to randomly survey our existing client base regarding music preference while experiencing mild to medium levels of pain with results showing a preference for upbeat, vocal centric, faster paced music over traditional spa music. Boran’s playlist now consists of the aforementioned styles with a blend of some spa music.
If you wish to have spa music only played while you are in treatment please request this with your Clinic Coordinator or Therapist and we will be more than happy to oblige. If you have any music suggestions for Boran please email email@example.com with your feedback.
What payment types do you accept?
We accept cash, Mastercard, Visa and Eftpos for all treatments and products.
Does Boran offer health fund rebates?
When it comes to claiming a rebate for your massage with your Health Fund, please be aware that all funds are different. Please contact your health fund directly regarding rebate availability and amounts.
Boran offers on-the-spot claims with our HICAPS facilities for Remedial Massage. Being able to claim your rebate via HICAPS means only paying the difference between your treatment fee and your rebate (better known as the 'Gap Payment').
